Weekend, baby-stuff, general musing
All I can think about is this weekend!! Friday I finally get my anatomy ultrasound and should FINALLY know if my baby is a boy or a girl. It will feel so good to finally know so I can do some shopping!! We already know that if it's a boy he'll be Bruce Wayne, and a girl will be Amara Kimberly Cherice.
Yes, I know it's a little silly to name a son after batman, but we actually have a couple of reasons for it. One: yes, we are a batman-loving family :D But in addition to that, my husband's name is Brian Wayne. Both my son and husband would have the same middle name and the same initials, BWB. That's as close as we'll ever get to a junior situa
More updates, life and such
I'll be sharing many pics of creations very soon. 5 months in and this pregnancy is still kicking my butt!! Nausea is not nearly as debilitating, everytime I think it's gone for good I get an unpleasant wake-up call. I'm still super tired all the time and occasionally have to fight the urge to puke. On top of that, I've accepted a full-time position with UPS in the past month, so my time is more limited.

Updates!
I know I've been a lot less active the last couple of months. It started with an extremely persistent upper respiratory infection that took hold right around the time I did the Louisville Zombie Walk. That turned into a sinus infection, and two and a half weeks of different antibiotics treatments.
Around the time my sinus infection got really bad, I started to feel extremely nauseated. My doctor insisted that the nausea would pass after I finished my medication. When my medicine was a few days done and I was still too sick to eat, down 10lbs... I checked into another possibility.
Turns out I'm expecting baby number 2!

Family Biz
So I was already on break with crafting. As I started preparing to get back into the lab, so to speak, there were these crazy floods in Louisville where I live. I've lived in Louisville for 17 years and I've never seen the like. Not only was everything flooded, but I live within two miles of a GE that caught fire. There were air quality warnings for my neighborhood, so we left to go to my dad's. This was the day before Easter. We DROVE through these flood waters... it was scary. I watched a car float away in front of me.
Ok, so that's all in the past. I start thinking about getting back into the craft room.
